In 2015 after 20 years together we decided to get married, each of us for the second time. We wanted our reception to be a gathering of only our closest friends and family, in our home in Sutton. Gil and Kate are amongst these closest friends. We asked Max if he and his friend Martin would like to act as the only two waiters at the event - this would involve wearing a very smart tuxedo with a bow-tie! Max had been studying catering at college and we thought this was a great way of having him at our celebration too. After a little initial reluctance he accepted our invitation and did an amazing job. He and Martin looked stunning in their suits. Lots of my friends commented afterwards what a delightful and polite young man offered them their canapés that evening. That's definitely Max.
